DeMar Darnell DeRozan (born August 7, 1989) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted by the Toronto Raptors with the ninth overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft and played for the team for nine seasons before being traded to the San Antonio Spurs in 2018. He also played for the Los Angeles Lakers for one season before joining the Bulls in 2021.
DeRozan is a four-time NBA All-Star and has been named to the All-NBA Second Team three times. He is known for his mid-range shooting and his ability to create his own shot. He is also a strong rebounder and defender.
In his career, DeRozan has averaged 20.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. He has shot 46.7% from the field, 33.8% from three-point range, and 83.5% from the free throw line.
